Participants will examine how cutaneous findings can contribute to early systemic diagnosis.Conditions involving connective tissue, vasculature, internal organs, and immune dysfunction will be discussed.The importance of collaboration between dermatologists and other medical specialties will be emphasized. Case-based learning will demonstrate the diagnostic value of recognizing characteristic skin findings. Early identification of systemic disease can improve referral and treatment decisions. An integrated approach to dermatology and multisystem patient care will be promoted.
