Dermoscopy and Advanced Skin Imaging

Dermoscopy has become an essential tool for evaluating suspicious pigmented and non-pigmented skin lesions. This topic will explore dermoscopic patterns associated with melanoma and other dermatological conditions. Participants will learn about digital dermoscopy and sequential monitoring of high-risk lesions. Advanced imaging technologies can improve diagnostic confidence and reduce unnecessary biopsies. The role of total-body photography in patients with multiple nevi will also be discussed. Artificial intelligence-assisted image analysis is emerging as an important diagnostic support tool. Opportunities and limitations of automated image interpretation will be examined.Emphasis will be placed on integrating imaging technologies with clinical expertise.
