MohsMicrographic Surgery and Surgical Dermatology

Mohs micrographic surgery provides tissue-sparing treatment for selected cutaneous malignancies.This topic will examine indications, patient selection, surgical techniques, and reconstruction principles. Participants will discuss the advantages of complete margin assessment during cancer surgery. The management of tumours in cosmetically and functionally sensitive anatomical areas will be emphasized. Reconstructive options following tumour removal will also be explored.Advances in surgical planning and intraoperative assessment will be discussed.Recurrence prevention and long-term follow-up will receive particular attention.Clinical case-based approaches will demonstrate the importance of specialized dermatologic surgery.
